I believe these are from the 20s or 30s, based on the font and that earlier ones had Arabic numerals for the date. I bet there are many on ebay, search completed/sold auctions for real world prices.

Arabic numerals. The years are Islamic years, so they have a large offset of around 600 years (but it doesn’t match up perfectly due to drift from the number of days in a year). It’s based on the birth or death of Mohammed.

The ones I see are all marked 1353, which is ~1934.
